Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (substitute ground turkey if desired)

1/4 cup green bell pepper diced

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 cup sugar-free ketchup

1/4 cup Water

2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute sweetener

1 teaspoon yellow mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder or clove of fresh garlic

1/2 teaspoon onion powder or one small onion, diced

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Black pepper to taste

Prepare a large skillet with non-stick spray. Saute bell peppers (onion and garlic if desired). Add ground beef and stir frequently until it is cooked through.

While browning the meat, mix the ketchup, mustard, sugar substitute and seasonings together. When these remaining ingredients are well combined, add to the cooked meat. Stirring frequently, cook until the tomato sauce is warm.
